What is TF: Fragmented?

TF: Fragmented is a Transformers rpg set within the universe of the 2007 movie. In a way, it got its start as a chatzy rp known as the Energon Bar. The idea has come a long way since then, and despite a new, fresh start for the story, many elements of the old Bar remain.

Here at TF:F, our aim is to bring you engaging, quality rp in an environment that is welcoming and OC friendly. In fact, not only do we welcome OCs, we encourage them. Our story and faction system is specifically set up to allow you the greatest degree of freedom possible in creating and playing your character, while at the same time providing a unique and flexible setting...

"There is an uneasy ceasefire between the Autobots and the Decepticons, enacted to stop the loss of life while they search for the resources to rebuild their home and support their dying race. In the meantime, they scrape together what little resources they can, for some with the hope of a new start, for others with the intent of further domination. Neither faction will raise arms against the other, however, for fear of reigniting the war while they are so few and so scattered. They remain on Earth as a fragmented and unstable people, unsure of what their future holds..."

Before arriving at this rather particular setting, we went through everything imaginable. A game that disregarded factions entirely in the name of fun, to a game with rigid faction-lines in place. Both collapsed, and were ultimately rejected. The first simply didn't have enough framework to support an extended game, and the second was too rigid to allow for the many and varied forms of OCs out there. So, how to solve this problem?

What resulted was an attempt to combine the best of both worlds, and eliminate some of the frustrations we saw our players go through. We hope to offer an adaptable free-form environment, where players can either join a faction or form their own, and where factions are free to make their own plans without an administrator determined story line. We give you a starting point, and what becomes of it is up to you.
